Dušan Čaplovič

Dušan Čaplovič was a prominent Slovak historian, archaeologist, and politician, known for his significant contributions to education and cultural heritage in Slovakia. Born on September 18, 1946, he graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Comenius University in Bratislava in 1969. Čaplovič served as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and held various leadership roles within the political party Smer. He was an influential member of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and authored numerous publications in the field of history. He passed away at the age of 78, leaving behind a legacy of academic and political achievements.
