Ebenezer Hancock was the younger brother of John Hancock, a prominent Founding Father of the United States. He served as the deputy paymaster of the Continental Army and is historically significant for his role in storing funds for the troops during the Revolutionary War. The house named after him, the Ebenezer Hancock House, is a Revolutionary War-era property in Boston, built in 1767, and is the last surviving structure connected to his brother.
