Edgar Alvarenga Funes

Edgar Alvarenga Funes is a Salvadoran professional with degrees in business administration and public accounting. He currently serves as the president of the Instituto Salvadoreño de Transformación Agraria (ISTA) and has previous experience as an auditor at the Corte de Cuentas. His vision for the future includes modernizing the audit processes by employing new systems and collaborating with the Fiscalía General de la República to combat corruption.
