Édgar Páez Cortés

Édgar Páez Cortés was a prominent figure in Colombian football, known for his role as the president of Tigres Fútbol Club. His career spanned several decades, during which he made significant contributions to the sport in Colombia. Prior to his involvement in football management, Páez served as a detective in the Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad (DAS). Tragically, he was murdered on September 23, 2023, in Bogotá, an incident that shocked the football community and highlighted issues of violence in the region.
