Edison Shehu

Edison Shehu, a 22-year-old citizen of Kosovo, was recently sentenced to 10 days in prison for vandalism after he admitted to graffitiing the phrase 'APRZ UCK 1878' in Meljine, Montenegro. Following his conviction, Shehu was also ordered to be expelled from Montenegro for one year. He reportedly stated that 'APRZ' refers to a fan group he is part of, while 'UČK' stands for the Kosovo Liberation Army, indicating a connection to his national identity and football fandom. His actions led to police involvement and subsequent legal proceedings, highlighting ongoing tensions related to national identity in the region.
