
Editha
Editha was the wife of Otto the Great and the daughter of the Anglo-Saxon King Edward the Elder. She played a significant role in the political alliances of her time through her marriage to Otto, which strengthened ties between Germany and England. Editha was known for her piety and support of the church, and after her death in 946, she was buried alongside her husband in Magdeburg.
