Edmund Gonville

Edmund Gonville was the founder of Gonville Hall in 1348, which later became Gonville & Caius College at the University of Cambridge. His establishment of the college marked the beginning of a long academic tradition that has included numerous notable alumni and a history rich with student pranks.
