Eduard Sacher

Eduard Sacher, born in Želiezovce in 1843, was the son of Franz Sacher and played a significant role in the culinary world by refining his father's original Sacher Torte recipe, adding apricot jam to create the beloved dessert known today. He went on to establish the famous Hotel Sacher in Vienna, further elevating the family's name in pastry and hospitality.
