Eduardo C.

Eduardo C. is a 67-year-old cleaning staff member who lived in his own home in Socio Vivienda, Guayaquil, for 15 years. He has witnessed his children grow up and welcomed grandchildren into his residence. However, following a violent massacre that claimed 22 lives, he decided to leave his home to ensure the safety of his family. Eduardo now resides with his sister in Fortín, just a short distance from his workplace, as he no longer feels secure in Socio Vivienda, which has become a hotspot for criminal activity and violence.
