Eduardo Orellana

Eduardo Orellana is a fisherman from Roatán who became a hero on March 17 when he, alongside his friend Aldair Alemán, rescued passengers from a plane that crashed into the sea near the Juan Manuel Gálvez airport. After receiving a call from Alemán, he quickly arrived at the scene to assist in the rescue efforts, helping to save five survivors from the wreckage while also recovering the deceased, including the well-known singer Aurelio Martínez.
