Edvard is a fitness trainer who gained notoriety after being implicated in a scam that cost his client, a 24-year-old nurse from Tallinn, €20,000. Initially serving as her personal trainer, he exploited their professional relationship by introducing her to fraudulent investment schemes involving cryptocurrency. Edvard communicated with her through the messaging app Telegram and ultimately led her to share sensitive banking information with strangers, resulting in significant financial loss for the victim.
