Edward II of England

Edward II was King of England from 1307 to 1327, remembered for his weak leadership and favoritism towards his close companions. His reign ended when he was overthrown by his wife, Isabella of France, in collaboration with her lover, Roger Mortimer, leading to his imprisonment and eventual death.
