Edward Steven Libreros
Edward Steven Libreros is a Colombian public administrator and politician, known for his role as the former Vice Minister of Water and Basic Sanitation. He graduated from the Corporación Universitaria del Caribe and holds a specialization in City and Territory Management from the Universidad Externado de Colombia. Libreros has previously run for the Senate and the Governorship of Meta, and was involved in Gustavo Petro's presidential campaign in the Amazon and Orinoquía regions. He was appointed to the vice ministry in September 2024 but was recently dismissed by President Petro during a tense ministerial council due to disagreements over water tariff regulations.
