Effua McGowan

Madam Effua McGowan is the Country Representative for Sister Cities International in Liberia, where she plays a key role in facilitating partnerships between Liberian mayors and their counterparts around the world. Recently, she led a three-day African Mayors Leadership and Development Conference aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of mayors in Liberia through networking, community engagement, and the sharing of best practices.
