Eftychios Lekkas
Eftychios Lekkas is a prominent Greek geologist and the coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Risk and Crisis Management Committee at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA). He is widely recognized for his expertise in seismic risk assessment and has been actively involved in monitoring and managing seismic activities, particularly in areas prone to earthquakes such as Santorini. Recently, he was in the news for leading a meeting with local authorities to discuss the ongoing seismic activity in the Santorini-Amorgos region.
