Eimear Maguire
Eimear Maguire is a Mayo native who moved to England with her family during the tumultuous period of the IRA Troubles in the late 1980s. After facing cultural challenges in her new environment, she eventually found her footing in Nottingham, where she became a nurse and later co-founded Maguire Family Law with her ex-husband, James Maguire. The firm, which specializes in family law, has grown to include multiple offices and employees. Maguire is also the inaugural chairwoman of the Women of Irish Heritage network, dedicated to helping Irish women settle in the UK. Despite living in England for over three decades, she has maintained a strong connection to her Irish roots and is now considering applying for dual nationality.
