Einar Hesthammer

Einar Hesthammer is a dedicated youth football coach who has passionately served the sport for nearly 15 years. He is recognized for his commitment to fostering an inclusive environment in youth football, focusing on friendship and enjoyment rather than competition. After witnessing a troubling trend of 'topping' in youth teams, where only the most skilled players are given playtime, Hesthammer took the initiative to establish Førre IL, a club that emphasizes participation for all. His efforts have garnered significant interest, increasing the club's membership dramatically. However, he has recently faced challenges as the Norwegian Football Federation (NFF) denied the club membership, citing an oversaturation of teams in the Tysvær municipality.
