Ekaterina Kunitsa
Ekaterina Kunitsa, formerly known as Ekaterina Vorobieva, is a Belarusian journalist and the former editor-in-chief of the regional newspaper 'Adzinstva' in Borisov. She was dismissed in the summer of 2022 after publicly criticizing local officials and highlighting the challenges faced by the media under government directives. Currently, she works for 'Sputnik Belarus', a state-funded news agency. Recently, Kunitsa gained media attention after a man was caught on video stealing items from her self-service coffee shop in Minsk, leading her to express her frustration with the police's decision not to pursue charges despite having identified the suspect.
