
Elena Korka
Elena Korka is a prominent Greek archaeologist and the director of the Office for the Supervision of Antiquities and Private Archaeological Collections of the Greek Ministry of Culture. She has been instrumental in the search for the ancient city of Teneja since 1984, drawing on historical texts and myths to guide her excavations. Her recent discoveries near Hiliomodi, including organized residential spaces and burial sites, have provided the first evidence of Teneja's existence, supporting its historical significance and economic development during ancient times.
