Elí Mejía Mendoza

Elí Mejía Mendoza, also known as Martín Sombra, was a former member of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) who gained notoriety for his role as a custodian of high-profile kidnapping victims, including former presidential candidate Ingrid Betancur. Despite being part of the peace process, he returned to criminal activities after his release and was involved in extortion and kidnapping incidents.
