Elí Quirós López

Elí Quirós López is the director of Radio Sinaí and has been vocal about the challenges facing small and non-commercial radio stations in Costa Rica. He recently expressed concerns over the high base prices set by the Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones (Sutel) for the upcoming auction of radio frequencies, arguing that such costs could threaten the plurality of voices in the media landscape and jeopardize the sustainability of religious and community radio stations.
