Elias Murad

Elias Murad, born in 1973, was the eldest son in a large Yazidi family and worked as a mechanic. He was a devoted husband and father of five, with another child on the way. Tragically, he was killed during the ISIS genocide against the Yazidi people in 2014, as he tried to protect his family and community.
