
Elías Solís González
Elías Solís González is a prominent Panamanian lawyer and politician, recently elected as one of the independent experts on the United Nations Committee against Enforced Disappearances. He has a distinguished academic background, holding degrees in Law and Political Science, along with master's degrees in Administrative Law, Commercial Law, and Criminal Sciences. Since 2019, he has served as the president of the Panamanian Red Cross and has actively participated in the National Permanent Commission for the Application of International Humanitarian Law.
