Eliezer Kaplan

Professor Eliezer Kaplan was a renowned Israeli cardiologist who significantly contributed to the field of cardiology and medical education in Israel. He served as the head of the cardiology department at Sheba Medical Center and was a former dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. A dedicated educator, he mentored generations of cardiologists and was known for his compassionate approach to patient care. Besides his medical career, he was a talented amateur violinist, often performing at charity concerts. He passed away at the age of 89, leaving a lasting legacy in both medicine and the arts.
