Eliezer Shkolnik

Eliezer Shkolnik is a fictional character from the film 'Footnote,' directed by Yosef Cedar. He is portrayed as a Talmudic scholar and a professor at the Hebrew University, whose career has been overshadowed by his son, Uriel. Eliezer struggles with feelings of inadequacy and jealousy, particularly when he mistakenly believes he has won the Israel Prize, only to discover it was intended for Uriel.
