Elisabetta Villaggio is an accomplished Italian author, director, and cinema professor known for her diverse body of work, which includes novels, essays, and fairy tales. She is the daughter of the late Paolo Villaggio, a celebrated actor and comedian, and she has worked to preserve his artistic legacy through documentaries and writings. Her latest book, 'Madeira. Storie d’amore in pieno oceano,' explores the rich history of Madeira and features historical figures such as Princess Sissi and Winston Churchill. In addition to her writing, Elisabetta teaches film at the Rome University of Fine Arts and has collaborated on various television projects.
