Elisamia Ngowi

Dr. Elisamia Ngowi is a newly graduated Master’s specialist in Paediatrics and Child Health from Aga Khan University. He has raised concerns about the severe shortage of paediatricians in Tanzania, highlighting that the current ratio of specialists to children is unsustainable. Dr. Ngowi is committed to using his training to improve early detection and management of childhood health issues, as well as to mentor other doctors, thereby contributing to the expansion of the paediatric workforce in the country.
