Elizabeth Duval
Elizabeth Duval is a Spanish philosopher, writer, and prominent advocate for trans rights. Born in Alcalá de Henares and raised in Plasencia, she holds degrees in Philosophy and French Philology from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the University of Paris-Nanterre. At just 24 years old, Duval gained recognition as a key figure in the political movement Sumar, where she served as spokesperson for Feminisms, Equality, and LGBTQ+ Rights. However, she recently announced her departure from the party, expressing disappointment with the limitations of institutional politics and a desire to return to her roots in activism and independent thought.
