Elizabeth Gil

Elizabeth Gil, a 37-year-old mother of two, was tragically swept away during a catastrophic flood in Cheste, Valencia, on October 29, 2024. Her vehicle was caught in the deluge while she was driving with her mother, whose body was later recovered. Elizabeth was last seen alive amidst the chaos of the disaster, which resulted in 229 fatalities and extensive destruction. Despite extensive search efforts by various agencies, including the Guardia Civil, she remained missing until recent DNA analysis confirmed her identification among the victims.
