Elizabeth O’Farrell

Elizabeth O’Farrell was a nurse and member of Cumann na mBan, who played a significant role during the 1916 Easter Rising in Ireland. She is remembered for her courage and dedication, and her legacy is honored in the Queer History Tour at Glasnevin Cemetery, where she is interred alongside her lifelong friend Julia Grenan.
