Ellie Ward

Ellie Ward is a 19-year-old Gaelic football player from Donegal, Ireland, who lives with a rare genetic condition called epidermolysis bullosa (EB), commonly known as 'butterfly skin'. Despite the challenges of her condition, which causes her skin to blister easily, she plays as a fullback and has achieved significant success in her sport. Recently, she has become more open about her condition, motivated by her younger brother Oisín, who also has EB, and has been involved in fundraising efforts for Debra Ireland, an organization focused on raising awareness and funds for research into EB.
