Elly Ependi

Ajun Inspektur Dua (Aipda) Elly Ependi is a dedicated police officer serving as a member of the Bhayangkara Pembina Keamanan dan Ketertiban Masyarakat (Bhabinkamtibmas) in Rawa Badak Utara. He gained recognition for his heroic actions on November 18, 2025, when he courageously jumped into the Sindang/Kresek River in Jakarta to rescue a 14-year-old boy, AH, who was in danger of drowning. His quick response and selfless bravery exemplify the commitment of the police to protect and serve the community.
