Elmer James Faucett

Elmer James Faucett was an American aviator born on March 15, 1891, in New York. He became a pioneer of commercial aviation after witnessing the first commercial flight in 1914 and later moved to Peru, where he established the first civil aviation academy and founded Faucett S.A., which played a crucial role in the development of commercial air travel in the country. His contributions to aviation and philanthropy left a lasting legacy, culminating in the inauguration of Avenida Elmer Faucett in his honor in 1962.
