Elsy Benítez

Elsy Benítez is a 71-year-old retired woman who emigrated from Venezuela to Andorra in 2018, fleeing the rampant insecurity and personal health crises she faced in her home country. After battling cancer and nearly losing her life to an attack, she sought a new beginning where she could recover and thrive. In Andorra, she has become an active member of the community, engaging in social activities like singing in the Orfeó d’Andorra and volunteering, all while cherishing her family still residing in Venezuela.
