Emer Carty

Emer Carty is a south Dublin parent and advocate for smartphone-free childhoods, actively involved in Smartphone Free Childhood Ireland, a movement aimed at promoting the benefits of raising children without smartphones. Inspired by her daughter's experiences with peer pressure regarding phone ownership, Carty has helped organize efforts that encourage parents to delay smartphone use for their children, fostering a supportive community that shares advice and resources on digital safety.
