Emil Sigerus

Emil Sigerus was a notable ethnographer and historian, recognized for his contributions to the documentation of Transylvanian culture and heritage. His work, including the book 'Vom alten Hermannstadt' published in 1928, highlighted the historical significance of various landmarks in Sibiu, including the Tower of Sfatului, where he chronicled the local community's sacrifices during the renovation of the tower in the early 19th century.
