Emil Vodder

Dr. Emil Vodder was a Danish naturopath who, along with his wife Estrid, developed the technique of manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) in the 1930s. His innovative approach to massage focused on stimulating the lymphatic system to treat swollen lymph nodes and promote overall health. The Vodder method is still widely practiced today and serves as a foundation for many modern lymphatic massage techniques.
