Emile Soudré

Lieutenant-Colonel Emile Soudré has recently taken command of the Commandement des écoles et centres de perfectionnement de la gendarmerie nationale (CECPGN) in Burkina Faso, succeeding Colonel Mamadou Coulibaly. His appointment, effective from November 5, 2025, was officially marked by a ceremony on January 23, 2026, where he expressed gratitude to the military hierarchy and committed to enhancing the training of gendarmerie personnel to effectively combat diverse security threats facing the nation.
