Emilia Eberle
Emilia Eberle, born on March 4, 1964, in Arad, Romania, is a celebrated gymnast who gained international recognition in the 1970s. She debuted in 1976 and quickly rose to prominence, winning multiple medals at major competitions, including three gold and one silver at the 1978 European Junior Championships and two silver medals at the 1980 Moscow Olympics. After retiring from competitive gymnastics, Eberle transitioned to coaching, working in Hungary and later in the United States, where she continued to contribute to the sport. Her accomplishments earned her the title of Emeritus Master of Sport and the National Cross 'Faithful Service', third class.
