Emilia García

Emilia García is the granddaughter of the renowned Colombian author Gabriel García Márquez. She played a crucial role in managing her grandfather's house in Jardines del Pedregal, which was opened to the public as a cultural space in 2021. Despite ambitious plans for literary clubs and workshops, the project faced challenges and ultimately closed permanently in August 2025 due to maintenance difficulties.
