Emilia Rusinova

Emilia Rusinova, born on July 19, 1971, in Vidin, Bulgaria, is a seasoned prosecutor with over 20 years of legal experience. A graduate of Sofia University 'St. Kliment Ohridski' in 1996, she began her career as an investigator in the Sofia Investigation Service in 1997. From 2001 to 2009, she served as a prosecutor at the Sofia District Prosecutor's Office before joining the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office in 2009, where she has held various roles, including Deputy Chief Prosecutor since 2014. Recently appointed as the interim head of the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office, she returned to this leadership position following the retirement of her predecessor.
