Emilija Jukić

Emilija Jukić is the executive director of the non-governmental organization 'Lea Bar', which focuses on providing support and shelter for women and children victims of domestic violence in Montenegro. Under her leadership, the organization has expanded its capacity to accommodate up to fourteen individuals in its shelter, offering essential services such as psychological, legal, and economic assistance. Jukić emphasizes the importance of psychological support and economic independence for survivors, advocating for a comprehensive approach to addressing domestic violence. She actively works towards increasing community awareness and improving institutional cooperation to enhance the safety and well-being of women facing violence.
