Emilio de los Santos

Emilio de los Santos was a Dominican military officer who played a significant role in the political turmoil following the assassination of dictator Rafael Leónidas Trujillo. He became a member of the military council that took control of the country after Trujillo's death and was later part of the triumvirate that overthrew President Juan Bosch in September 1963, assuming a leadership position during a critical period in Dominican history.
