Emilio Eduardo Massera
Emilio Eduardo Massera was an Argentine naval officer and one of the key figures in the military junta that ruled Argentina during the National Reorganization Process from 1976 to 1983. He was a member of the 'Triple A' (Argentine Anti-Communist Alliance) and played a significant role in the implementation of state terrorism, which included widespread human rights abuses, disappearances, and torture during the military dictatorship. Massera was later tried and convicted for his crimes against humanity.
