Emilio Silva Fava

Emilio Silva Fava is a Spanish journalist and sociologist, known for his work in historical memory and human rights. He is the president of the Asociación para la Recuperación de la Memoria Histórica (ARMH), an organization dedicated to uncovering the realities of Franco's regime, including the recovery of bodies of victims of the dictatorship. Silva's advocacy is deeply personal, as he led efforts to locate and identify his grandfather, who was executed during the Spanish Civil War and remained missing for decades.
