Emma Selin Bilgin

Emma Selin Bilgin is a skilled dog sledding guide who has embraced a life of adventure in some of the world's most remote locations. Originally from the High Tatras, she spent two years in Lapland, Finland, caring for sled dogs and leading tours. In March 2023, she relocated to Longyearbyen, Svalbard, where she manages thirty dogs and navigates the challenges of living in an extreme environment, including the presence of polar bears. Known for her resilient spirit and passion for the outdoors, Emma has made headlines for her high-paying but demanding job in one of the most isolated human settlements on earth.
