Emmanuel Chanda
Emmanuel Chanda, better known as Jagari, is the frontman of WITCH, one of the most influential bands in Zambia's Zamrock movement of the 1970s. With a distinctive style that fused psychedelic rock with traditional African sounds, WITCH became a cultural phenomenon. Jagari continues to perform and promote Zamrock, experiencing a resurgence of interest in the genre alongside younger artists, including his niece Sampa the Great.
