Emmanuel Vilte

Emmanuel 'Coca' Vilte was a 39-year-old Argentine soldier from Comodoro Rivadavia who fought for the Ukrainian forces in the ongoing conflict against Russia. Having joined the Ukrainian resistance in June 2022, he participated actively in key military operations, including the counteroffensive in Kyiv. A former member of the Argentine Army, Vilte had extensive military training and had become a certified drone pilot during his time in Ukraine. He was known for sharing his experiences on social media, highlighting both his combat preparations and his family life with his Ukrainian wife and daughter. Tragically, Vilte was killed by a Russian drone strike in Pokrovsk, highlighting the perilous nature of his commitment to the Ukrainian cause.
