Rev. Dr. Emmett Lafayette Dunn is an internationally respected clergyman and philanthropist, currently serving as the Executive Secretary and CEO of the Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Mission Convention. Appointed by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai as the National Orator for Liberia’s 178th Independence Day celebrations in 2025, Dr. Dunn has dedicated his life to education, reconciliation, and nation-building, working in over 100 countries during his tenure with the Baptist World Alliance. A native of Liberia, he holds a Master of Divinity from Howard University and has been instrumental in various initiatives aimed at national development, including health, education, and infrastructure.
