Encarnación Polo Oliva

Encarnación Polo Oliva, known as Encarnita, was an iconic Spanish singer and actress, celebrated for her contributions to the copla music genre during the 1960s. At the age of 86, she was tragically murdered in a nursing home in Ávila, leaving behind a legacy as one of the last representatives of the 'yeyé' copla movement, a fusion of traditional Spanish folk music and modern influences.
